The Carpet Cleaning Technician course teaches the fundamentals of carpet cleaning. Topics include fiber types and characteristics, fiber identification, carpet construction and styles, dyeing at the mill, soil characteristics and the chemistry of cleaning. This course will also introduce the technician to the 5 methods commonly used in carpet cleaning.

To participate in our live-streamed classes, please take note of the following important information and requirements:
You must have a computer with video and audio capabilities.
You must have access to a strong, stable internet connection.*
You are required to upload a piece of photo ID for face recognition during the exam. Please email those photos to firstname.lastname@example.org or text them to 615-244-3661.
You must fill out the IICRC Candidate Agreement form and pay for your exam as soon as possible, but in any event no later than 2 days prior to the class. These will be sent to you following paid registration.
Once the class is paid for in full, you will receive the IICRC Candidate Agreement form, a manual sent via Fed Ex to your address, and a link for your Zoom class.
We ask that you log into the class at least 30 minutes prior to the start time to ensure your technology is working and to be present for attendance and policy review.
